To streamline your workflow, Beastcam offers advanced presets for all available settings. These presets can be easily shared and applied at any time, saving you precious time when setting up your camera. They are particularly useful for multi-phone setups, DOF Adapters, anamorphic lenses, as well as commonly used settings like frame rate and resolution.
 
The app also excels in file management. It allows you to create projects and scenes that generate readable file names based on the project name, scene name, and take number. This helps you locate your files quickly and efficiently. Additionally, Beastcam's built-in gallery provides a convenient way to manage and share organized photos and videos.
 
Beastcam encompasses an array of impressive features that cater to different shooting needs. Some notable functionalities include the ability to set and lock focus and exposure with reticles, analyze shots with focus peaking, false colors, zebras, and histogram, stabilize shots with standard or cinematic image stabilization, desqueeze footage for anamorphic lenses, rotate orientation for DOF lens adapters, and monitor audio levels and settings directly from the home screen. The app also offers various aspect ratio guides and grids to compose your shots effectively.
 
In terms of video capabilities, Beastcam supports a wide range of resolutions and frame rates, including 4K, QHD, FHD, and HD options. You can choose from different bit rates, including a high-performance "Beast" option. The app even supports 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR and ProRes formats for professional-grade video capture.
 
When it comes to audio, Beastcam offers flexible options for ACC, PCM, and AIFF audio formats, as well as 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates. You can use both built-in and external microphones, with the ability to control gain for external microphones.
 
For photography enthusiasts, Beastcam supports JPEG, HEIF, and RAW file formats, along with various aspect ratios including 1:1 , 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9.
